The opportunity
The Executive Risk Management function is looking for an experienced Risk Management professional to join the Global Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team. In this role, you will actively contribute to strengthening EY’s Global ERM Program by working closely with and reporting to the Global RM/ERM Leadership and the ERM Program Director. You will also be collaborating with the ERM network to implement a program that aims to proactively changing behaviors related to risks to protect the organization while enabling purposeful growth within the organization’s appetite for risk.
Specifically, a key project will be to engage the ERM network across the Regions and countries to build on the existing processes, methodology and tools to support the ERM program implementation and operations. You will have the opportunity to engage and support the local teams and to be a lead for learning and development of the network.
The opportunity is location agnostic and involves very limited, if any, travel.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Advance understanding of risk management processes and frameworks, ability to facilitate risk identification and assessment using various techniques to identify emerging and strategic risks, knowledge of established best practice ERM frameworks such as COSO and ISO 31000 with an ability to practically implement it tailored to EY.
- Develop and build on various components of the ERM program – e.g. ERM approach and methodology, risk reporting, Key Risk Indicators, Risk Drivers, risk appetite etc.
- Implement and oversee the assigned ERM activities and projects ensuring operational execution to actionable projects, apply effective project planning and management, collaboration, coordination and application of expertise skills to ensure quality, timely deliverables appropriate for the target audience.
- Work with the Digital RM technology teams to develop, test and maintain the GRC tool and the Power BI analytics tool to increase visibility and business impact for the Management and Leadership.
- Develop and maintain impactful risk reporting templates that incorporate into dashboards, reports from the GRC technology solutions, levering data analytics tools to meet the requirements of leadership reporting
- Establish and enhance relationships across Risk sub-functions, and the ERM network to establish brand and credibility as an expert and collaborate across various risk management efforts.
- Lead the Learning and Development to promote ERM awareness and capabilities across the EY organization on the GCR platform and ERM Program including the ERM Framework, risk assessment, facilitating risk discussion, and roles and responsibilities.
- Support the Communication Strategy including preparing draft contents
- Support Regions and Countries to drive a consistent ERM program implementation across multiple geographies
- Deliver consistently against an agreed schedule, with flexibility and modification as necessitated

To qualify for the role, you must have
- University graduate in Business or Risk Management with minimum 3 years prior experience in Enterprise Risk Management
- Proficiency in risk management concepts and principles and understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
- Experience working with diverse personnel from across the globe and able to influence and drive consensus
- Experience working with GRC tools and reporting software
- Proficiency in MS office tools – Excel, Power point, Word
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience working with the Power BI tools
- Curiosity and willingness to try new things and grow your skillset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and respond to emerging priorities
- Ability and willingness to periodically work flexibly e.g. occasionally participating in calls outside of standard office hours (early morning/late night) to support EY’s global organization
