Job Overview:
The Supply Lead/Riders Trainer is responsible for training new and existing delivery riders to ensure they understand and comply with company standards, safety protocols, and service excellence. This role will focus on developing training programs, conducting sessions, monitoring rider performance, and providing continuous support to improve efficiency, customer service, and safety on the job.
(Some of) What you will be doing:
- Training Development: Develop and update comprehensive training programs for new riders covering app usage, delivery processes, customer service, safety, and company policies. Create both in-person and online training modules, manuals, and guides. Provide refresher training sessions for existing riders to address updated procedures or performance issues.
- Training Delivery: Conduct onboarding and orientation sessions for new riders to familiarize them with the delivery app, company policies, and best practices. Provide hands-on training for riders on route optimization, order handling, customer interaction, and safe driving techniques. Ensure riders understand app navigation, delivery process, payment systems, and reporting tools.
- Performance Monitoring & Feedback: Identify performance gaps and provide one-on-one coaching or additional training to underperforming riders. Provide regular feedback to riders on their performance and areas for improvement.
- Compliance & Safety: Educate riders on traffic regulations, safety guidelines, and the importance of adhering to local laws while on delivery. Conduct regular safety assessments and refreshers to maintain high safety standards.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate with operations teams to address rider performance issues and develop strategies for improvement. Maintain detailed records of training sessions, attendance, and performance outcomes. Report training effectiveness and suggest improvements to training programs based on rider feedback and operational needs.

- Previous experience in logistics, delivery operations, or a related field, with a focus on training and development.
- Knowledge of delivery operations, safety protocols, and customer service best practices.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
