About Snoonu

We are looking for a talented UX Writer to join our team in Doha. This role is vital to creating engaging, localized, and user-friendly content for our platform. Your words will shape the way users interact with Snoonu, driving clarity, trust, and delight across every touchpoint.
(Some of) What you will be doing:
- Craft Clear, Engaging Content: Write concise, user-focused copy for app interfaces, notifications, emails, error messages, and other digital touchpoints.
- Localization & Cultural Adaptation: Tailor content to resonate with Arabic-speaking audiences, ensuring cultural relevance and linguistic accuracy.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Marketing teams to ensure content aligns with product goals and user needs.
- Support User Research: Participate in usability testing, analyze user feedback, and refine content to improve the overall experience.
- Maintain Consistency: Develop and enforce voice and tone guidelines in Arabic and English, ensuring a cohesive brand voice across all touchpoints.
- Optimize User Flows: Audit existing content and propose improvements to enhance clarity, reduce friction, and improve user engagement.
- Design System Contribution: Collaborate with the Product Design team to contribute to and maintain Snoonu’s design system, particularly in content standards.
- Educate Teams: Advocate for content-first approaches and best practices in UX writing within the company.
Attitude matters most but do you have any of these?
- Language Proficiency: Native-level fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) and professional proficiency in English.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, or a related role.
- Content Crafting Expertise: Proven ability to create clear, concise, and impactful content for web and mobile applications.
- User-Centric Mindset: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a strong desire to solve user pain points through content.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Familiarity with the Qatari market and regional nuances to deliver culturally appropriate content.
- Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like Figma, Miro, and content management systems (CMS).
- Adaptability: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while navigating the dynamic needs of a growing organization.
- Research Savvy: Experience leveraging user research and analytics to inform content decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the e-commerce or delivery industry.
- Background in creating bilingual content (Arabic and English).
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in sprints
