Primary purpose of job
Ensure safe, efficient and injury free marine transportation of cargoes to globally diverse customers by ensuring the marine quality assurance of vessels chartered or being considered for charter as well as coordinate the activities of various shipping projects to ensure chartered fleet remains competitive and in compliance with industry regulations.
Experience & Skills
• 8 years related experience in marine vetting, marine operations, marine terminals, emergency response drill development and coordination or risk management.
• Good Knowledge with the process of risk identification, mitigation, and management.
• Ability to review/develop reports, presentations, policies, and procedure.
• Good Knowledge of LNG shipping industry bodies, National and International maritime and shipping regulations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marine/Shipping or 1st Class Marine Certificate of Competency (Master Mariner/Chief Engineer) OR National Graduate with university degree in Navigational, Sciences or Business Administration.
