The Petroleum Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing methods to extract oil and gas from deposits below the earth’s surface. This role involves analyzing and interpreting geological data, developing drilling plans, and optimizing production processes. The engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful execution of projects and maximize resource recovery.
Your Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret geological and geophysical data to identify potential oil and gas reservoirs.
- Develop and implement drilling plans, including selecting appropriate drilling techniques and equipment.
- Monitor drilling operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations.
- Design and optimize production processes to maximize resource recovery and minimize environmental impact.
- Collaborate with geologists, reservoir engineers, and other specialists to integrate data and develop comprehensive reservoir models.
- Conduct reservoir simulations and performance evaluations to predict future production and optimize recovery strategies.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in petroleum engineering and apply new technologies and methodologies to improve project outcomes.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and other team members.
Your Profile
- Minimum 10 years working experience in Upstream Oil and Gas Industry includes extensive experience in waterflood and CO2 completion design, intelligent well completion design and implementation. experience in design and optimization of Natural flowing, Gas lift, Waterflood, and ESP Wells and fields.
- Advanced Skills in Petroleum Experts IMP Software Package.
- Advanced Skills in Landmark Completion Software Package.
- Familiar with OFM, OSI PI ProcessBook, AVOCET, PHD, PI.
