With both technical as well as business process improvement acumen, our Manager Finance Transformation’s primary objective is to lead and manage multiple finance related processes (eg: P2P, R2R, S2C, DOC, FP&A, GRC,Tax, Business Finance, MIS, etc.) through adoption of innovative technology solutions by designing and implementing new ways of working.

You will act as SME and key member of the leadership team in redefining and transforming complex change initiatives in the finance function to achieve operational excellence, efficiency and strategic alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Accountabilities:

  • Successfully contribute to the delivery of future integration of a new ERP into the Group’s financial systems & infrastructure across multiple or high complexity Finance streams.
  • Responsible with scoping, design, building, implementation, testing and management of all phases of Finance transformation project including the allocation of resources and management of project budget.
  • Help define the Finance Target Operating Model together with the Head of Finance Transformation and Project Director and contribute to delivering the Finance Transformation Agenda
  • Lead change management efforts ensuring effective communication, stakeholder engagement, new ways of working within finance streams and across the organization.
  • Manage transition activities including planning training and knowledge transfer activities, business cut-over strategy and activities, facilitating business readiness criteria and providing post Go-Live support.
  • Partner with the Group Digital workstream to ensure Finance needs are understood and delivered.
  • Mitigate risks and exposure in the current system and application support.
  • Document and validate current processes/process flow charts and identify opportunities for automation, standardization and process streamlining across the back-office organization.
  • Own business process designs for the assigned Finance streams with strict adherence to the key design principles, contribute to the ERP in project planning, risks identification and mitigation.
  • Serve as process expert in the assigned Finance processes, understand current state, define the future state and contribute to define the implementation approach to achieve the project goals.
  • Continuously explore and identify innovative solutions to continuously improve.
  • Support ERP Transformation team on compliance with project key design principles and data governance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 8 years of job-related experience.
  • University degree/preferably in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, MIS, or Mathematics having finance professional qualifications (CA, CPA/CMA)
  • 8+ years of experience in business transformation and ERP implementation
  • 4+ years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence
  • 4+ years of experience in managing operational finance: P2P, R2R, S2C, DOC, FP&A, GRC,Tax, Business Finance, MIS, etc etc
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional process improvement projects

Preferred:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of SAP S4 Hana/Oracle Fusion Project Execution management experience
  • 4+ years directly managing ERP implementation and roll outs
  • Demonstrated experience with project management/Agile delivery/ITIL in a regulated environment
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma
  • Proven experience in global team management (10+ FTE)

Job Specific Skills:

  • Excellent command of English language written and spoken
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in process mapping and process flow analysis tools
  • Excellent project management skills, with certification in Project Management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in the back off processes of aviation industry such as “Flight to Settle”, “Ticket to Cash” & “Record to Report”
  • Functional finance experience (Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis, P2P, R2R, S2C, DOC, FP&A, GRC, Tax, Business Finance, MIS, etc) in any industry
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, integrations, IT complex infrastructure

Preferred:

  • Expertise in ERP system implementations and software delivery best practices (eg: Oracle and SAP)
  • Functional finance experience (Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis, P2P, R2R, S2C, DOC, FP&A, GRC, Tax, Business Finance, MIS, etc) in a major airline
  • Experience with implementing processes of aviation industry such as “Flight to Settle”, “Ticket to Cash” & “Record to Report”
  • Excellent project management skills, with certification in Project Management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in process mapping and process flow analysis tools, Lean Six Sigma certified
