QatarEnergy LNG, formerly Qatargas, started in 1984 and was the first to make Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) in Qatar. Now, it makes more LNG than anyone else in the world. It can make 77 million tonnes of LNG each year at its big plants in Qatar’s Ras Laffan Industrial City.

Starting in 1996, QatarEnergy LNG has sent LNG to more than 30 countries. They’re really focused on giving the world safe, dependable, and clean energy. QatarEnergy LNG does a really good job making LNG, and this helps the Qatari economy and their plan for energy.

Qatargas doesn’t just make LNG. They also run other important places like the Jetty Boil-Off Gas facility, Al Khaleej Gas, Ras Laffan Heilum, and the two Laffan Refineries, which are some of the biggest condensate refineries in the world. They also manage the Ras Laffan Terminal for everyone involved.
