Qatar Airways is pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our HR Separations team as a HR Administrator – Separations to be based in Doha, Qatar.

As an HR Administrator – Separations, you will be responsible for coordinating and processing all separation-related activities, including resignations, terminations, final settlements, visa cancellations, clearance processes, and employee documentation. You will liaise with multiple stakeholders to ensure a seamless employee exit experience and timely completion of all required formalities.

Specific Responsibilities For The Role Include

  • Manage end-of-employment processes for resignations and terminations, ensuring all procedures are completed accurately and within established timelines.
  • Review and verify notice periods, last working dates, leave balances, unpaid leave, employee entitlements, deductions, bond agreements, and other separation-related matters.
  • Prepare, process, and obtain approvals for resignation and separation documentation, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are informed.
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding employee clearances, recoveries, reimbursements, and final settlement requirements.
  • Process full and final settlements, liaising with banks and relevant authorities as required.
  • Manage visa and residence permit cancellation processes, including travel and cargo entitlement arrangements where applicable.
  • Prepare employment reference letters and maintain accurate separation records, registers, and employee files.
  • Ensure all separation activities comply with company policies, procedures, and best practice standards.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient employee exit experience.
  • Support management with any additional separation-related activities and ensure all clearance formalities are completed accurately.

About You

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant vocational, tertiary or trade qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably within a large multinational environment.
  • Knowledge of immigration rules and visa requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience advising on HR separation processes and policies.
  • Experience coordinating travel, accommodation and itinerary arrangements for employees and candidates.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and data analysis.
  • Adaptable, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
