Cozmalab is a Qatar-based beauty distribution company offering a comprehensive range of cosmetics, beauty products, professional tools, and equipment. Building on its established relationships with beauty salons and barbershops, the company is expanding its distribution across retail channels. Cozmalab aims to bring its brands to a wider customer base through partnerships with beauty retailers, pharmacies, supermarkets, hypermarkets, and other relevant retail outlets.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar, with regular visits to existing and prospective retail partners. The Distribution Channel Manager – Retail will be responsible for expanding Cozmalab’s retail distribution network and developing commercial relationships across Qatar.
The primary focus is opening new retail accounts, securing product listings, and increasing the number of retail locations carrying Cozmalab’s brands. The successful candidate will identify suitable retailers, connect with buyers and category managers, present the company’s product portfolio, and negotiate commercial agreements covering pricing, margins, listing fees, payment terms, and promotional opportunities.
The role also involves managing retail partner relationships, coordinating product launches and replenishment, and working with internal sales, operations, and marketing teams to support product availability, visibility, and sales performance. Responsibilities include setting account growth plans, monitoring sales and profitability, and identifying opportunities to expand product ranges within existing retail accounts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail business development, retail distribution, or key account management, preferably within beauty, cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG.
- An established network of relationships with retail buyers, category managers, and purchasing decision-makers in Qatar.
- A demonstrated track record of opening retail accounts, securing product listings, and expanding distribution into new points of sale.
- Strong understanding of retail commercial terms, including retailer margins, listing requirements, promotional agreements, and payment conditions.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills, with the ability to turn business opportunities into active retail accounts.
- Ability to develop sales forecasts, manage account targets, and monitor product availability, retail sales performance, and profitability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage. Ability to work on-site in Doha and conduct regular visits to retail partners.
