KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Equipment Maintenance: You will be responsible for regular inspections and preventive maintenance of bowling equipment, including pinsetters, ball returns, scoring systems, and lane surfaces. This involves checking for wear and tear, cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
- Troubleshooting: When technical issues arise with the bowling equipment or scoring systems, you’ll need to quickly diagnose the problems and perform necessary repairs. This could involve electrical, mechanical, or software-related troubleshooting.
- Repairs and Replacements: As part of your job, you’ll need to be skilled in repairing and replacing faulty components, such as electrical circuits, sensors, motors, and mechanical parts. You may also need to coordinate with suppliers to order replacement parts.
- Lane Setup and Adjustment: Bowling lanes require regular maintenance to ensure consistent lane conditions. You may be involved in setting up and adjusting lane patterns and oiling patterns to meet specific standards and accommodate different skill levels of bowlers.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring the safety of customers and staff is crucial. You’ll need to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when conducting maintenance and repairs on equipment.
- Customer Support: As a Bowling Technician, you’ll be the go-to person for customers who encounter technical issues while using the bowling lanes. You’ll need to provide prompt and effective support, resolving any concerns they may have regarding equipment operation.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections is essential for tracking the equipment’s performance and planning future maintenance schedules.
- Teamwork: You may work as part of a maintenance team, collaborating with other technicians and staff to ensure the overall smooth operation of the bowling center.
- Overall, as a Bowling Technician, you play a critical role in keeping the bowling facility operational and providing customers with a safe and enjoyable bowling experience. Your technical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are essential for the smooth functioning of the bowling center.

Qualifications
Diploma or technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in bowling equipment maintenance is highly preferred.
Experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance, preferably within an entertainment, cinema, bowling, or leisure facility.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentation.
Basic computer knowledge, particularly for bowling scoring and control systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Min of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
