About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a GS Image and Style Specialist within Hub Operational Support in Doha.

In this role, you will supervise Image and Style Officers and ensure the grooming suite is maintained with the required products to support the Image and Style Department. Confirm that new and existing Ground and Lounges staff in uniform meet grooming and uniform standards.

Key Accountabilities

• Deliver training, advice, and guidance to Ground uniformed staff to ensure that grooming is in accordance with company uniform policy and grooming standards.
• Perform practical classes on make-up and skincare for the new joiners to enhance the image factor.
• Provide feedback to Image and Style Officers to improve efficiency within the Department.
• Propose suggestions and improvements to develop and upkeep the Image and Style Department regularly.
• Update Grooming / Uniform policies, procedures, and assessment records within SharePoint, ensuring all documents are accessible for the Image and Style team to maintain a high level of grooming knowledge.
• Procure & keep a record of all replenishment items for Makeup needed for grooming to achieve cost effectiveness.
• Coach Ground Services (GS) staff selected for promotional / upgrade events based on grooming record as part of their developmental plans.
• Liaise with Group Uniforms Department in terms of uniform quality, distribution, and replacement to ensure stock is readily available and staff always have adequate uniform available to them.
• Report grooming issues to Line Managers and draft Memo’s in severe cases for senior management’s review.
• Update line manager on the progress of the task assigned on a weekly/daily basis.
• Provide special permission letters related to grooming / uniform issues only after validating with QRMC and updating Prism records.
• Follow and check inventory stocks updated by officers and ensure it is up to date with stock readily available.
• Maintain staff performance, probation, and evaluation review to ensure HR performance policies are met.
• Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience. High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience. Relevant experience as Cabin Crew or make-up specialist is a plus.

• Managerial skills – ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinates’ skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.

Preferred

• Knowledge of uniform handling processes.
