Qatar Airways is pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our HR Remuneration and Organisation Design team as a Retirement Benefits Officer to be based in Doha, Qatar.
Responsible for ensuring the smooth administration of Global and Local Benefits schemes, guaranteeing accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of services to scheme members and internal stakeholders. This role serves as a key liaison between members, HR, and other departments, providing expert guidance and ensuring adherence to local, regional, and international regulations.
Specific Responsibilities For The Role Include
- Maintains up-to-date records on retirement benefits for all Outstations.
- Ensures compliance with local, regional, and international regulations.
- Monitors changes in legislation that may impact pension plans.
- Prepares regular reports on plan status for internal stakeholders
- Handles HRBP inquiries about pension entitlements and contributions
- Manages database updates for changes in retirement benefits status
- Coordinates administrative projects related to outstation pension scheme enhancements
- Prepare accurate cessation data capture information following cessation of a scheme employee, including liaising with third parties and other QR departments.
- Review audit documents and financial statements for any discrepancies.
- Liaise with HR Separations team regarding the ISP recovery/payment for members leaving employment.
- Monitor the company ISP account, ensuring the adjustment value has been correctly credited into the account.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience
- Relevant experience in either the insurance, pension or financial services industry
- Excellent working experience in Oracle / HRMS
- Proven ability in demonstrating flexibility to meet the changing demands of the business.
- Strong interaction with client area with proven influencing skills.
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge of local legal requirements.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to work within a team structure/environment.
- Excellent organisational ability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
