Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join our Group Actuarial team.

Develop and deploy data-driven solutions using R, RShiny, Python, and SQL to analyze and interpret complex datasets.

Utilize Large Language Models (LLMs), Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Web Scrapping technologies to extract, analyze, and model unstructured data.

Work with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure, to design scalable and efficient data pipelines and environments.

Leverage analytics: Mathematics and Statistics, modelling and modern machine learning techniques, Optimization.

Understand complex databases and perform data management, cleaning, transformation and visualization.

Build intuitive user interfaces using tools such as Shiny or Dash, enabling non-technical users to easily interact with predictive models and analytics dashboards.

Create and maintain predictive analytics models, dashboards, automation program and other data driven tools for technical teams and business stakeholders.

Stay up to date with the latest developments in data science, cloud computing, and AI to continuously improve data products.

Knowledge of actuarial concepts is a plus.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Advanced University degree (Master’s preferred) in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Actuarial or any related field.

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience (experience level depending on the profile)
