Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage quantity take-offs, measurements, and cost estimates for mechanical works.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow to ensure effective cost control.
- Evaluate variations, prepare claims, and manage final account settlements.
- Review subcontractor quotations, payments, and contract compliance.
- Assist in contract administration and commercial management activities.
- Coordinate with project teams to support project close-out requirements.
- Prepare reports related to project progress, costs, and commercial matters.
- Ensure all QS activities comply with project specifications and contractual requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience as a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor in construction projects.
- Experience in large-scale construction projects and project close-out activities.
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, cost control, variations, and final accounts.
- Experience in subcontractor management and contract administration.
- Good communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- GCC experience is preferred.
