The Social Media Lead is a Doha-based role on a six-month fixed-term contract, owning social accounts across a slate of exciting projects, with an immediate start.
This is the person who sets the direction and makes it happen – the strategy, the editorial calendar, the storytelling and the day-to-day publishing across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn, in both Arabic and English. It’s a role for someone who is both strategic and hands-on: able to build the plan and run the channels.
You’ll own the bilingual voice and cultural nuance across every platform, read the data and tell the story behind it, and build strong relationships with community, creators and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
• Set the overall social media strategy and direction across a slate of projects.
• Own and maintain the editorial calendar, planning content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn.
• Define the bilingual voice and tone across Arabic and English, ensuring cultural nuance and relevance.
Content & Publishing
• Lead day-to-day publishing across all channels, ensuring content is timely, on-brand and platform-native.
• Shape storytelling across formats, thinking natively in TikTok, Reels and Shorts
• Work with editors, shooters and creative teams to bring the content plan to life.
Data & Insight
• Track, read and interpret performance data across platforms.
• Tell the story behind the numbers, turning insight into clear recommendations.
• Report on results and continually optimise the approach to grow reach and engagement.
Community & Partnerships
• Build and nurture relationships with community, creators and partners.
• Identify and develop creator and partnership opportunities that extend reach and impact.
• Engage audiences authentically across Arabic and English-speaking communities.
• A native Arabic speaker, fluent in English – confident owning a bilingual voice and cultural nuance.
• Both strategic and hands-on – able to build the plan and run the channels day to day.
• Platform-native, thinking in TikTok, Reels and Shorts rather than just“social”.
• Comfortable with data – able to read the numbers and tell the story behind them.
• A natural with community, creators and partnerships.
• Proven experience leading social media across multiple platforms.
• A valid drivinglicence.
