About the job

As the GBS & Automation Senior Manager at Snoonu, you will play a critical role in building and scaling a Global Business Services (GBS) model while modernizing finance operations through automation, AI, innovation and standardized processes, IT tools and systems. You will lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline transactional and analytical finance activities, improve data quality, and enable Finance to transition from manual execution to insight-driven decision-making at scale.

  • GBS & Finance Transformation
  • Lead end-to-end reviews and redesign of finance processes within the GBS scope, including Record-to-Report, Treasury Operations, Partner Settlements, Order-to-Cash, and Procure-to-Pay.
  • Define and implement standardized, scalable processes aligned with GBS best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to centralize, simplify, and automate finance operations as the company scales.
  • Support the evolution of the finance operating model, including role clarity, service catalogs, SLAs, and governance.
  • Automation, AI & IT Systems Enablement
  • Drive automation and AI initiatives across GBS and Finance using ERP capabilities, integrations, workflow tools, and emerging AI solutions.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Technology, Product, and BI teams to prioritize automation initiatives and system enhancements.
  • Own finance and GBS-related system requirements, UAT, and deployment for new releases and process changes.
  • Reduce manual effort, cycle times, and error rates across transactional finance activities.
  • Data, Controls & Reporting Enablement
  • Improve data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across finance and GBS processes.
  • Strengthen reconciliations, controls, and exception handling through automation.
  • Enable self-service reporting, dashboards, and operational KPIs for Finance and business stakeholders.
  • Significantly reduce spreadsheet dependency and manual journal or adjustment processes.
  • Change Management & Stakeholder Alignment
  • Lead change management initiatives for new tools, processes, and ways of working within the GBS and Finance teams.
  • Develop training materials and conduct enablement sessions to ensure adoption of standardized processes and systems.
  • Act as a key bridge between Finance, GBS, Product, Engineering, and Data teams, ensuring alignment and execution.
  • Foster a continuous improvement mindset across finance operations.

🧙‍♂️ The Magic You Bring

  • 8–12+ years of experience in finance transformation, GBS, shared services, systems implementation, or automation roles.
  • Strong experience designing or operating GBS / shared service models in a fast-growing environment.
  • Proven track record of embedding automation and/or AI into finance or operational processes.
  • Deep understanding of finance processes and ERP, IT systems (e.g., Odoo, NetSuite, SAP and other IT tools).
  • Comfortable working closely with technology, data, and product teams.
  • Highly analytical, structured, and execution-oriented, with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to drive change, standardization, and scale in a dynamic, high-growth organization.
