About The Role: The OCC Duty Manager is accountable for the day to day management of the department and the performance of the staff within OCC. To deputize for the OCC Manager, in all matters, when the former is not on duty.

Accountabilities: Lead and Manage the OCC Team, to achieve operational integrity of the schedule, full SOP compliance, within the operation and ensuring sound decision making processes are employed.

Manage and ensure a satisfactory balance of On Time Performance (OTP), interdependency and customer service in line with the QACC business goals.

Establish and maintain strong and effective working relationships with all relevant departments and stakeholders throughout QACC, Qatar Airways, HIA and other customers.

Assist in the QACC response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, including support of the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program.

To oversee and manage the QACC Catering Software Systems.

To coordinate and manage the unit KPl’s, providing Performance Reports to section management. To coordinate the short and long term unit forecasting and planning of resources; providing worksheets and material requisitions.

To control and accurately file the customer airlines Galley Loading Plans, for unit use.

To ensure that the provision of Invoices for services supplied to all customers is carried out in an accurate and timely manner.

To ensure that investigations related to variations in operational process and procedures within OCC are carried out by the Duty Officers and closed, with appropriate corrective actions.

To ensure that the catering delay investigation process by the Duty Officers with other operational sections is appropriately and promptly concluded at the Operations OTP Meetings.

To lead Operational Projects, ensuring agreed timelines are met.

Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Qualifications High School with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience or Bachelor’s Degree with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience

Job Specific Skills: Meeting deadlines and operational emergencies

Good spoken & written English

Systems & Computer literate; MS Office Word, Outlook, Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, Access)

Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow.

Strong mentoring and coaching skills.

Ability to foster teamwork among team members.

Self-confident and self-motivated

Experience with Flight Schedules, Dispatch procedure management and Airline Security procedures
