What are you going to do

  • Measuring, assessing and valuing variations
  • Review and assessment of major claims
  • Quantum review and assessment of prolongation and disruption costs
  • Assessment of interim accounts
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution, Dispute Resolution & Litigation
  • Final settlement of claims and final accounts

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • BSc (Hons) degree in Quantity Surveying accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
  • A post-graduate qualification in law or dispute resolution preferred but not essential
  • Chartered Membership of the RICS or equivalent (suitably experienced professionals may be considered)
  • Must have a minimum of 14 years post graduate experience
  • Worked in the capacity of Commercial Specialist / Manager within a Professional Consultancy or Client organization (Contracting background may also be considered).
  • A proven track record of resolving major complex claims and disputes
  • Preferably, have minimum 5 years experience in the gulf region.
  • Play a key role in initiating and implementing commercial procedures, regulations and added value working practices
  • Review, updating and monitoring of project costs and adherence to Company’s existing commercial procedures
  • Compilation, implementation and monitoring of Training and Development Plans
  • Ensuring construction contracts and professional services agreements are administered appropriately
  • Resolution of major issues resulting from the review and interrogation of Contractor’s Cost and progress reports
