We are e looking for someone to manage the Operations Control Centre (OCC), organizing the flow of information being received from internal and external customers and the unit is kept current with up to the minute information. To be able to communicate changes affecting airline planned scheduled operations to all parts of the business in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • To manage the Operations Control Centre (OCC) functions by monitoring and actioning the flow of information being received by email, telex, telephone and radio, from internal and external customers.
  • To monitor Airline operations, ensuring aircraft changes, delayed flights and meal order information is promptly passed to all unit sections.
  • To monitor processing of all Adhoc aircraft operations, Terminal Lounge and Amiri flight orders.
  • To ensure that the QR IT Systems manned by Operations Control Centre (OCC) are functioning and to initiate contingency plans for system failures.
  • To oversee that Non QR daily airline schedules, Qatar Airways Cargo daily airline schedules and unit master daily flight schedules are published accurately and in a timely manner
  • To oversee the management of the QAIZEN Software System within the Operations Control Centre, monitoring the system throughout the unit.
  • To regularly review the QACC Catering Software Systems making recommendations for process change and development to management.
  • To coordinate the accurate provision of worksheets and material requisitions from the Planning/ Forecasting software.
  • To ensure that the customer airlines Galley Loading Plans and inflight Service Briefs are accurately filed and circulated within the unit.
  • To attend the daily Qatar Airways Operations Control Centre (QR OCC) On Time Performance (OTP) Meeting; to give feedback to the Operations Control Centre Team and management, on Qatar Airways operational issues that affect QACC unit operations.
  • To facilitate Operational Projects, in liaison with the Duty Manager and OCC Manager.
  • To deputize for the Duty Manager – Operations Control Centre, in all matters, when the former is not on duty.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent

Preferred

  • HACCP Certificate desirable
  • Airline Security rained

Previous Experience

  • Specialist – minimum 4 years of job-related experience required
