GEMS Wellington School is currently looking for a hard-working and talented individual to join our Secondary Humanities team, as a temporary teacher of Geography and KS3 Humanities. This position is available because of the current potholder taking extended maternity leave. The period would run from January until June 2025.

This opportunity is ideally suited for a local candidate, looking for supply work for a limited period of time.

They will possess the skills, passion and creativity to contribute to an inclusive, high-performing Humanities department across the secondary school. Candidates should have a passion for education, engage with current pedagogy and have a proven track record of outstanding practice.

Qualifications and Experience – The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience. They will also hold a BEd or Bachelors degree with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent.
