Job Purpose:
As the Assistant Guest Relations Manager, you will assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of guest services, ensuring that our guests’ needs and expectations are met with the highest level of care and attention. You will be a key point of contact for guests, addressing any concerns or requests to ensure a memorable stay.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Guest Relations Manager in managing daily guest relations operations, ensuring top-tier service quality.
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Anticipate guest needs, offering personalized service to ensure a memorable experience.
- Collaborate with various hotel departments (housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance) to meet guest expectations.
- Supervise and provide guidance to the Guest Relations team, fostering a collaborative and motivated environment.
- Maintain guest profiles and preferences to ensure personalized service and anticipate needs during their stay.
- Ensure that all VIP and special requests are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide regular feedback to the management team on guest experiences, trends, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in guest relations, front desk, or customer service within the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems effectively.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation software is a plus.
- Fluent in English and preferably in Arabic
- Flexible schedule and availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
