About The Role
An exciting opportunity to join the Qatar Airways Continuous Improvement and Transformation team as Continuous Improvement & Transformation Manager. The role Creates, owns and implements a sustainable and effective Continuous Improvement and Transformation plan (CI&T). Advocates CI&T solutions and methodologies to close any performance gaps in the assigned portfolio. Leads process improvement initiatives using best practice management techniques and frameworks, enhancing transparency in operational and process performance to boost efficiency, productivity, and quality. Establishes operational workflows and leverages data from internal and external sources to drive continuous improvement. Builds and manages relationships with stakeholders across the business to ensure aligned performance and improvement discussions.
Your Duties Would Include
- Analyse end-to-end processes to identify and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and quality.
- Design solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality by implementing an innovative and comprehensive Continuous Improvement and Transformation (CI&T) plan, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
- Prioritize process improvement opportunities in the assigned portfolio and drive projects to achieve desired business results.
- Facilitate development of the department’s taxonomy and design principles to deliver effective work placement in line with global best practice, drive increased effectiveness and efficiency. Build effective stakeholder relationships across the organisation.
- Use data to identify opportunities, track performance, and drive improvement to ensure efficiency, productivity and quality within the assigned portfolio as well as alignment to the overall organizational goals.
- Applying process improvement capabilities, tools and techniques to solve business problems in order to support the business to reach their business objectives.
- Should be able to comprehend, analyze and explain business problems and proposed solutions to stakeholders at different levels.
- Facilitating development of necessary management reporting tools in collaboration with Business Intelligence team to facilitate efficient communication with stakeholders and drive fact-based decisions.
- Implement performance improvement measures and mechanisms for tracking progress with the service line managers to drive quality and productivity improvements.
- Support the wider development of process improvement capabilities by offering coaching to the members of the assigned portfolio.
- Ensure process and service improvement projects are sustainable and have an enduring positive impact on performance which is measurable and where required has a robust financial business case.
Qualifications
We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our Continuous Improvement and Transformation team. The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor’s level with minimum 6 years relevant experience.
- Master’s degree qualification in relevant field preferred.
- Proven ability to follow designed frameworks and implement in agile and flexible way.
- Experience in applying management techniques and frameworks in solving problems.
- Project management experience at an advance level.
- Experience managing senior stakeholders.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Should be excellent at communicating effectively to Senior Stakeholders up to C-Level and Division leadership.
- Professional experience in Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Work, and PowerPoint) and Project Management Software is required.
- Experience Implementing methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma for process optimization would be an advantage.
- Data Analytical skills and knowledge of tools like PowerBi & SPSS would be an advantage.
