Civil Planning Engineer (Project-Based)

Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) – Immediate Relocation Required

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled **Civil Planning Engineer** to join our project team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate must possess strong expertise in project planning and scheduling using Primavera P6 Professional (Release 18.8.0). This role is critical to ensure the timely delivery of project milestones by creating and maintaining efficient baseline programs, resource management plans, and progress tracking reports.

Key Responsibilities

– Baseline Program Development:

-Prepare the baseline program aligned with the project’s duration, utilizing BOQ, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.

– Load and allocate resources, including manpower and materials, in Primavera P6.

– Integrate project costs into P6 and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

– Data Analysis & Visualization:

– Generate detailed S-curves, manpower histograms, and cost cash flow diagrams using Primavera P6 data.

– Regularly monitor project progress and update the baseline program to reflect actual performance.

– Reporting:

– Create and update comprehensive weekly and monthly reports, presenting project progress and deviations effectively.

– Maintain and update project dashboards weekly for internal and external stakeholders.

– Coordination & Communication:

– Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.

– Provide insights and recommendations to mitigate delays and optimize resource utilization.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

– 4–5 years of experience in project planning, specifically within construction or infrastructure projects.

– Proficiency in Primavera P6 Professional (Release 18.8.0) is mandatory.

– Proven experience in preparing and updating baseline programs, resource and cost loading, and generating project analytics.

– Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

– Ability to produce high-quality reports and communicate effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred:

– Previous experience working in the Middle East, especially in KSA.

– Knowledge of construction contracts and project management best practices.

Note: Immediate relocation to KSA is a requirement for this position.
