To provide advice, opinion and services in handling litigations cases including representing QatarEnergy, QatarEnergy subsidiaries, QatarEnergy affiliates and the State of Qatar government bodies before courts and disputes resolution tribunals and leads Counsels in providing legal opinion required in running the business, in accordance with QatarEnergy’s Policies and applicable laws and regulations to the best interest of QatarEnergy
Requirements
10+ years of legal experience
Eligible to practice law in Qatar or any similar jurisdiction
Arabic speaker with excellent command of spoken and written English
Excellent legal drafting, writing, researching, and analyzing skills
Must be familiar with the Qatari laws or any similar jurisdiction
Experience in the Oil and Gas industry will be highly advantageous
Prior knowledge of boards and general assembly’s secretariat activities
Education
Bachelors of Law (LLB) or equivalent from recognized Arabic University, preferably master degree of law
