Reporting To: Director of Human Resources

To assist the Director of Human Resources in the overall management and administration of the Human Resources department, ensuring the effective implementation of HR strategies and policies.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Planning

  • Assist in developing and implementing the hotel’s HR strategy, aligning with the overall business objectives.
  • Conduct regular HR audits and analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Talent Acquisition And Management

  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the hiring of top talent.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training.
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies to retain and develop high-performing employees.
  • Manage employee performance management processes, including performance reviews and goal setting.

Employee Relations

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Handle employee relations issues, including grievance handling and disciplinary actions.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Assist in administering compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Conduct regular salary reviews and ensure competitive compensation packages.

Training And Development

  • Identify training needs and develop comprehensive training programs.
  • Coordinate and deliver training programs to employees at all levels.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

HR Operations

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, attendance, and timekeeping.
  • Ensure complance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records.
  • Prepare HR reports and analysis as required.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • A passion for people development and a commitment to providing excellent HR services.

Additional Responsibilities (May Vary Based On Hotel Specific Needs)

  • Overseeing employee accommodation and transportation.
  • Managing health and safety programs.
  • Coordinating employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
