Senior Videographer & Editor
BLJ Worldwide is seeking a talented and creative Videographer & Editor to join our team in Doha, Qatar.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video and possess strong technical skills in both shooting and editing. This role requires someone who can bring corporate, social media, and creative concepts to life, ensuring that all video content aligns with our clients’ branding and communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Production:
- Capture high-quality video footage for a variety of projects, including corporate videos, social media content, and creative campaigns.
- Work collaboratively with clients and the creative team to develop concepts that meet project objectives.
- Plan and execute shoots, including setting up lighting, sound, and camera equipment.
Video Editing:
- Edit raw footage into polished final products using Adobe Premiere, ensuring all videos meet brand guidelines and client expectations.
- Incorporate graphics, animations, and other visual effects to enhance storytelling and engagement.
- Optimize videos for different platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations.
Creative Development:
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop innovative video concepts that resonate with target audiences.
- Ensure all video content aligns with the overall brand strategy and messaging.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide updates throughout the production process.
Quality Control and Knowledge Sharing:
- Review and provide feedback on all video content to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained.
- Stay updated on the latest video production and editing trends, tools, and techniques.
- Deliver and present training sessions for colleagues and interns to share knowledge and skills in video production and editing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a videographer and editor, with a strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating your work.
- A minimum of five years relevant experience in the role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere; knowledge of After Effects and other Adobe Creative Suite tools is a plus.
- Strong storytelling and scripting skills with the ability to bring creative concepts to life through video.
- Experience in shooting and editing content for corporate clients, social media, and creative campaigns.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and team members.
- Fluency in Arabic is a plus, but not required.
- Animation skills are a plus.
